Because of the link with the College on site, the mix of gym and sports facilities at the Academy has been designed to suit all levels, with many of the sports courts being to ‘County’ level competition standard.

Fitness Studio

There are some 30 pieces of the latest Technogym equipment all of which are operated with your personal Wellness key. This enables you to log into your individual programme and record your progress.

Multi-Sports Hall

Some 25% bigger than a standard sports hall with stage seating for up to 200 spectators, our multi- sports hall does ‘What it says on the tin’ with:

• 5-a-side Football
• Badminton - 5 courts up to 4 County Standard
• Volleyball
• Basketball
• Netball - County standard
• Cricket – 4 cricket nets
• Indoor-Hockey
• Tennis
• Table Tennis

The special flooring also helps to reduce the risk of impact related injuries and professionally qualified sports assistants are on hand to help and coach. So whatever your sporting preference, the chances are we’ve got it covered.

Dance Studio

Our large and fully air-conditioned dance studio can cater for up to 40 people. With a modern sprung dance floor, hi-tech sound and professional fun dance staff, you can enjoy the range of dance classes on offer.

These have been designed to suit all tastes and all ages and are offered throughout the day and evening to fit in with your personal lifestyle.

Beauty & Treatment Rooms

We are delighted to be able to offer a range of Holistic Therapies and Spa Treatments in a luxurious setting from expertly trained beauty therapists. So, why not pamper yourself to a little luxury? Four state of the art changing rooms are available with all facilities sensor controlled - combining the ultimate in comfort and design with healthy operation.

Sophisticated Saunarium

Our Saunarium is a cross between a dry sauna and a wet steam room. The balanced combination of heat and humidity generates a ‘tropical’ atmosphere which is both calming and invigorating. It provides a different kind of relaxation experience which is further enhanced with essential oils, essences and lighting. A sensual experience not to be missed.

Rest and Relaxation

In the glass atrium members’ area you can chill out after a hard session and enjoy a range of refreshments and snacks in a peaceful environment. For the active followers of sport there is also a large screen TV with access to Sky Sports.
